We, the proud people of Gadsden Alabama, declare eternal war on socks. In a state where the summer asphalt can cook a casserole and winter somehow still hits 75° socks are not just unnecessary...they are class warfare. 

Shoes cost money. Socks cost money. But God gave us feet for free, and the Constitution don’t say nothin’ about mandatory foot prisons. We demand the right to go barefoot everywhere, all the time, because every pair of socks is another dollar the Sock Industrial Complex steals from hardworking Gadsden Alabamians who can’t even afford Walmart flip-flops.
